Updates

What's new in the library — subjects, chapters, the roadmap, and reading features. Current version: v1.19.

19 releases

  1. Mobile roadmap and bookmarks polish

Smoother roadmap navigation on phones, a more reliable bookmarks menu on small screens, and a steadier zoomed-out neighbor preview while you pan.

  2. Roadmap track isolate

Filter the home roadmap to Quantitative Finance only, Further Mathematics only, or the full mixed curriculum.

    • Use the track buttons above the roadmap; Fit recenters on the visible cards.
    • Cross-track arrows hide while a single track is isolated.
  3. MTB reading theme

A new dark theme in MT Blue navy and cyan — choose MTB in settings for a brand-aligned reading experience.

    • Applies to chapters, tables, navigation, and the roadmap.
    • Your theme choice is remembered on this device.
  4. Updates page

A new Updates page lists major library releases with version numbers, so you can see what’s new at a glance.

    • Open it from the navigation menu alongside Home / Roadmap.
  5. Clearer roadmap prerequisites

Roadmap arrows now show when one chapter truly depends on another, so the suggested study order matches the lesson content.

    • Abstract Algebra’s later topics correctly require rings, fields, and solvability chapters first.
  6. Stochastic Calculus — thirteen chapters

Thirteen lessons on continuous-time finance — Brownian motion, Itô calculus, SDEs, and option pricing through Black–Scholes.

    • Prerequisites point to Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Time Series where those subjects are needed.
  7. “On this page” chapter outline

Jump to any major section while reading — a section list beside the chapter on desktop, or from a button on mobile.

    • The current section highlights as you scroll.
  8. One curriculum roadmap

The home roadmap shows every subject in a single graph, so you can see how Further Mathematics and Quantitative Finance connect.

    • Prerequisites across tracks appear in one view.
    • Pan, zoom, and reset to explore the full tree.
  9. Time Series — ten chapters

A Quantitative Finance subject on modelling and forecasting sequential data — stationarity, ARIMA, GARCH, VAR, cointegration, and Kalman filtering.

    • Ten chapters on the home roadmap under Quantitative Finance.
  10. Bookmarks and progress marks

Save chapters to revisit later and mark lessons complete; your list stays on this device between visits.

    • Use the bookmark menu in the top bar.
    • Mark completion from a chapter header or topic page.
  11. Abstract Algebra — full curriculum (22 chapters)

Twenty-two rigorous chapters on the Further Mathematics track, from groups and rings through Galois theory.

    • Written for self-study; each chapter builds on earlier material in the subject.
  12. Reading themes — Day, Night, and Terra

Choose a color theme for comfortable reading — light Day, dark Night, or green Terra — across chapters, tables, and the roadmap.

    • Your choice is remembered on this device.
    • A Space theme is also available in settings.
  13. Calculus — all chapters available

Every Calculus chapter now has a complete written lesson, including series, multivariable calculus, and differential equations.

    • All twenty chapters show difficulty ratings from Easy through Rigorous.
  14. Calculus subject opens (20 chapters)

A full Calculus track with twenty chapters from limits through differential equations, grouped by difficulty.

    • The first eight chapters are available immediately.
    • Remaining chapters follow in the next release.
  15. About page and footer

New About page explaining what the library covers and how to use it, plus links in the site footer on every page.

    • Reach About from the menu or the top bar.
    • Footer links to NinetySevenGroup and MT Blue.
  16. MTB Quant Library brand and home

Updated name, logo, and a dedicated home page that introduces both library tracks and the curriculum roadmap.

    • A clearer starting point before opening individual chapters.
  17. Linear Algebra — advanced chapters (16–20)

Five new chapters on matrix decompositions (LU, QR, SVD), Markov chains, and numerical stability complete the Linear Algebra track.

    • Twenty chapters in total, from vectors through factorizations used in applied work.
  18. MTB Quant Library opens

The library goes live with structured lessons across quantitative subjects, a home page, and chapter navigation.

    • Browse subjects by track and difficulty.
    • Chapters include worked examples and practice exercises.
  19. Linear Algebra — first fifteen chapters

Fifteen lessons covering vectors through projections and positive definite matrices — the start of the Linear Algebra track.

    • Each chapter includes exercises and a symbol glossary.
    • Browse by topic or follow chapters in order from the sidebar.
